MediDay Terms of Use
Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully. These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you ("you", "your", or "User") and Hamdi Kartal ("we", "us", "our", or "MediDay") governing your use of the MediDay mobile application (the "App") and any related services, features, or content provided by MediDay.
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and any other policies referenced herein, including our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
About MediDay
MediDay helps users create medication schedules, receive timely reminders, and track doses taken or missed. MediDay is a reminder and tracking tool and does not provide medical diagnoses or treatment.
Key features include personalized medication plans, time-based reminders and notifications, dose tracking, medication photo support and visual recognition aids, QR/barcode quick-add, a large medication database, family sharing for caregiver support, reporting and PDF export, medication stock and prescription renewal reminders, and support for regulated medication tracking.

Acceptance and Changes
By using the App, you accept and agree to these Terms.
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the App, by email if you provided one, or by other reasonable notice. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.
Eligibility and Age Restrictions
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If local law requires a higher minimum age, you must meet that higher age requirement.
If you are a caregiver using the App for another person, you represent that you have legal authority to manage that person’s medication information and to share it as you do through the App.
Account Registration and Security
Certain features require creating an account. When you register, you must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or breach.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that are inactive or that violate these Terms.
User Obligations and Acceptable Use
You agree to use the App only for lawful and authorized purposes.
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information when prompted.
- Use the App only as a tool to remind and record medication usage.
- Not use the App as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
- Not use the App for emergency medical situations. Contact emergency services or your healthcare provider immediately in urgent cases.
- When using family-sharing or caregiver features, only add individuals you have consent or legal authority to manage.
- Not reverse engineer, decompile, probe, test, or interfere with the operation of the App.
- Not use the App to upload or distribute unlawful, abusive, defamatory, hateful, infringing, or otherwise prohibited content.
User-Generated Content
The App may allow you to upload, submit, or post content such as medication photos, notes, comments, and reports ("User Content").
You retain ownership of your User Content.
By submitting User Content, you grant MediDay a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, transmit, display, process, reproduce, and use that content as necessary for the operation, maintenance, analytics, and improvement of the App, subject to our Privacy Policy.
You represent that you have all rights necessary to submit such content and that it does not violate any law or third-party right.
Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the App, including its design, code, features, graphics, text, logos, and trademarks, are owned by or licensed to MediDay.
Subject to these Terms and any App Store rules, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on compatible devices for your personal, non-commercial use.
AI and Automated Features
The App may use AI, machine learning, or automated processing for visual recognition of medication photos, predictive suggestions, or automatically generated reports.
AI-generated outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. You should verify critical information against official prescribing information or with a licensed healthcare professional.
AI outputs are informational only and do not replace medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Health and Medical Disclaimer
The App is a tool to support medication adherence and record keeping. It is not a medical device, does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease, and does not provide clinical recommendations.
Always follow the instructions of your healthcare provider and official prescription labeling. For urgent or emergency medical situations, call emergency services immediately.
Third-Party Services and Integrations
The App may use third-party services and SDKs for analytics, payments, authentication, advertising, and backend infrastructure. These services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
Payments, Subscriptions, Free Trials and Billing
Business model: freemium. The App provides free functionality and optional paid subscription plans or in-app purchases to unlock premium features.
Subscription terms, pricing, features, and billing cycles are described in the App and in your purchase flow before you complete a purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled.
All purchases are processed by Apple through your Apple ID. By purchasing a subscription, you authorize Apple to charge your selected payment method and agree to Apple’s payment terms.
Where a free trial is offered, you will be charged for the applicable subscription at the end of the trial period unless you cancel before the trial ends.
You must manage and cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID account or the App Store subscription management. Cancellation stops future renewals but generally does not provide refunds for the current billing period unless required by applicable law or Apple policy.
Refunds are governed by Apple’s refund policies. Please contact Apple Support for refund requests.
Advertising and Third-Party Links
The App may show advertisements from third parties and may link to external websites or services that we do not control. We are not responsible for their content or practices.
Data, Privacy and Regulatory Compliance
Our collection and use of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to our collection, storage, and processing of data as set out there.
We aim to comply with applicable privacy laws and consumer protections where required.
Platform-Specific Terms and App Store Compliance
The App is available on Apple iOS. All purchases of digital goods or services must be made through Apple In-App Purchase, and you agree to comply with applicable App Store rules and policies.
Apple is not a party to these Terms but may be a third-party beneficiary of certain provisions related to App Store use. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App.
Suspension, Termination and Account Deletion
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App for violations of these Terms, illegal conduct, infringement of third-party rights, or other legitimate business reasons.
Terminating your account or uninstalling the App does not automatically terminate active subscriptions billed through Apple. You must cancel subscriptions through your App Store account.
Disclaimers
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND LICENSORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE APP OR THESE TERMS.
OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR DIRECT DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD 100).
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MediDay and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from claims, liabilities, losses, damages, costs, and expenses arising out of your breach of these Terms, misuse of the App, or violation of any applicable law or third-party rights.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey, except where mandatory local consumer protection law requires otherwise.
Unless otherwise required by applicable law, disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App will be resolved in the courts of Istanbul, Turkey.
